Why García Law?
Kaefer J. Garcia founded the firm to serve the communities he grew up in — immigrant, working-class, and often underserved by the legal system. From a Newark prosecutor's office and a Municipal Public Defender's role to tenant advocacy in Union City, Kaefer's career has been about translating complex legal situations into plain, actionable guidance.
Today, García Law spans two offices — our main location at 500 NJ-17 in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, and a Brooklyn, NY office by appointment. Our team of partners, of counsel, and paralegals handles every matter with the same standard: honest expectations, proactive communication, and courtroom preparation that clients can feel.
The immigration and family law matters we see are rarely straightforward — our job is to make sure the path forward is.
